welcome to kongeda!
kongeda is a private roleplay group for the cw television show, the 100, which starts immediately following the season two finale. while most details from the show’s first two seasons will be utilized in the game, storylines from the third season and onward may be left out completely. we felt that this starting point would well establish the universe and characters, but also give everyone the freedom to explore new ideas without being bogged down by the numerous deaths, constant angst, and rapid plot progression.

gameplay
while the main focus will be a slower paced development, the mod will frequently assist the group with opportunities to grow in a centralized direction. every two weeks or so, a short scene will be posted in theonehundred as a means to further the plot, encourage growth, and offer drama to characters who might not find it in their immediate interactions. the scenes are meant to help guide, but you may use your own discretion to decide how important they are to your own character. you may choose to reply or regard them as a narrative. between these short scenes, the mod may also post various smaller scale group activities in theonehundred to encourage further interaction. while the mod will post these activities regularly, you are also welcome to post your own should the inspiration strike!

available characters
as a private group, the community will be small. characters from other fandoms will not be accepted. however, as well as any currently living canon characters from the 100, any deceased characters will be accepted as long as a realistic explanation is provided for their survival as well as a brief update on what has occurred with the character between the time of their canon death and the game’s current setting ( for example, maya could have escaped mount weather and traveled to arkadia if it is explained that she received the marrow transplant like emerson did ). original characters will be also be accepted to add a freshness to the interactions, and you may work the characters into any group you would like ( the 100, the ark, grounders, mount weather, etc ). if your original character becomes inactive, the mod may or may not kill off the character. if the mod chooses to do so, at least one week’s notice will be given after the point of removal and the community will be notified beforehand in case of any objections.

activity
while several forms of activity are encouraged, removal will only be judged through the use of activity checks. activity checks will be made every two weeks in theonehundred. to pass an activity check, all you have to do is make an ooc comment stating you’re still active within three days. simple, right? other activity encouraged in the group includes: scenes ( these might be public in theonehundred, group scenes, or locked in individual journals ), narratives, journal updates in your character’s journal, conversations in ic customs, and conversations on aim. while it is not required, these are the things which will keep the group thriving, so please participate often!

to apply...
make a journal! we don’t care if the username includes your character’s name or not, but please make it relatable to your character in some way. in your journal, we will look for three things. 1) an ic contact post. you don’t need to make it fancy. just a post so any character who wishes to do so may contact your character at anytime! 2) an ooc contact post. again, just something so any writer may easily contact you! 3) a small blurb about your character. we won’t enforce a word limit, but this blurb will be replacing examples in your application. tell us as much or as little about your character as you believe others need to know. you don’t have to give away all of their secrets, but most of these characters do either live together or regularly interact; make sure everyone has a refresher on the need to know facts, personality traits, or connections you deem important. also, if you do make any canon changes, please acknowledge them in the character blurb! it will hopefully eliminate any awkwardness in future character interactions. the blurb may be in your ooc contact post if you want! aim is not required, but if you prefer to use aim, make a screenname for your character. and finally, apply and don’t forget to check the plot post to work out connections!

expectations
be active. have fun. be polite. don’t be afraid to ask questions or take risks. otherwise, the mod trusts you to use your best judgment and enjoy yourself!
